This is real, this is me. This is my story.

My brain moves fast, my world moves faster, and photography was the first thing that ever moved with me instead of against me. It’s funny… years ago, I was sitting in my internship at school, just a stretch away from finishing my law enforcement degree. Everyone around me was locked in, and I remember thinking...

“What if I just completely changed my mind and tried something else? I really want to travel and experience life before I commit to this. What if I do something that actually makes me feel alive?” All I could think of was what would happen if it was just...

 Me, myself, and my dream camera?

So I sifted and searched and compared... And hello to the Sony series! An incredible upgrade from being an iPhone camera enthusiast. And as soon as I got it, I put myself out there. And when people came to me, and trusted me with their moments, I realized something big

This isn’t just a job.

This is what I needed to bring the spark back to my soul.

I’ve lived the kind of days that don’t look pretty on paper. The days where you’re trying to work, parent, remember appointments,  continue your education,  take your meds, manage your weight, hold a relationship together, manage finances, and doing most of it alone.

I get the families who show up late. I get the brides who are anxious.

I get the couples who don’t know what to do with their hands.I get the moms who are hanging on by a thread but still want one good picture where they look like they’ve got it together.

Photography gave me a way to freeze proof that there were good days, even in the bad seasons.

A way to do my own thing with no rules, no parameters, no pretending.

A way to finally let go of other people’s standards and build my own.

Every wedding, every elopement, every family session, every styled shoot,  it’s never “just content” to me. It’s never “just another booking.” It ignites my soul, it brings me purpose, and I make new connections with so many different people celebrating all walks of life.

This is my story.

This is why I shoot the way I do.

This is why your memories matter to me the way they do.
